About Us

I started jQueryScript in 2012 with a few other developers. We all loved JavaScript and web development. Around 2010, jQuery was hugely popular for web design and development. The jQuery Plugin community blossomed, with new plugins appearing daily. We built jQueryScript to collect, organize, and share these high-quality plugins.

Twelve years later, in 2024, we've shared over 11,000 jQuery plugins across 22 main categories and over 1,400 subcategories. We've helped around 3,000,000 developers find quick and easy solutions for their web projects.

For these past 12 years, we've monitored front-end development communities, searching for the newest jQuery plugins. We personally test them, create demos and documentation, and then share everything on jQueryScript.

Back in 2013, we recognized that web development trends change. We knew native JavaScript would remain important even if jQuery's popularity declined. We created CSSScript.com to share current native JavaScript and pure CSS libraries using a similar approach. We now offer nearly 5,000 JavaScript and CSS libraries, adding new ones every day.

We also experimented with other sites over the years. We launched VueScript.com for Vue components and ReactScript.com for React components, aiming to stay at the forefront of web development. Unfortunately, we couldn't dedicate enough resources to maintain them, so they're currently inactive.

More recently, with the rise of tools like Next.js, TailwindCSS, and Shadcn/ui, we launched Next (https://next.jqueryscript.net). This site focuses on resources related to these cutting-edge web technologies.

In 2024, fewer new jQuery plugins are being released as jQuery's overall use declines. We still update our site daily, guaranteeing that any jQuery plugin you download is the latest version.

Looking ahead, jQuery 4's upcoming release (currently in beta) makes the future of the jQuery plugin ecosystem uncertain. We're following these changes closely. It affects not just JavaScript developers but also the future of jQueryScript.

That's the story of jQueryScript. Contact us through our Contact Us page or email us at contact#jqueryscript.net (replace # with @) with any questions.
